Support and resistance, simply
Why prices keep stopping at the same levels, and why those levels sometimes break.
Look at a gold chart for a few weeks and you will see the price turning back at roughly the same prices again and again. Traders call a floor that holds "support" and a ceiling that holds "resistance".
Why levels form
Traders remember prices. If gold bounced at $4,050 last week, buyers who missed it may wait there again, and sellers who got out too early may place orders near the last high. All those orders in one place slow the price down.
How this site finds them
The site looks at its own hourly prices for recent weeks. Each time gold made a clear turn, it notes the price. Where two or more turns sit close together, it shows a level, with how many times gold turned back there.
When levels break
A level is not a wall. Big news can push straight through one, and a level that breaks often swaps roles: old resistance can become new support. Use levels to understand the chart, not as a promise of what comes next.
